A shower column, panel or cabin is plumbed into a bathroom and must be fitted by a competent plumber, and any model with a digital control, LED or steam feature is an electrical appliance in a wet room — it must be wired through an RCD by a qualified electrician to the wet-zone rules, earthed and bonded, with controls sited out of the wet zone. Set the thermostatic valve to a safe maximum temperature to avoid scalding — take extra care with children and older people. The glass is toughened safety glass; set a cabin on a sound, level, sealed floor with the drain and waste connected and sealed by the plumber, and check your mains or pump pressure meets the shower's requirement. Shower trays are slippery when wet — use a non-slip mat and take care. CE marked where applicable. The statutory 14-day right of withdrawal applies to consumers.
